šŸ”„šŸ’„šŸ”„ *A Knowledge-Based and Scholarly Warning Against Mahir Al-Qahtāni* šŸ’„šŸ”„šŸ’„

All praise is due to Allāh and peace and blessings be upon his Messenger and his true followers.

Al-ā€˜Allāmah ā€˜Ubaid Al-Jābiri refuted Māhir Ibn Dhāfir Al-Qahtāni justly due to what he knew of his activities in the daā€™wah. So our Shaikh (ā€˜Ubaid) rightly advised that knowledge should not be sought from him. And we see that Shaikh ā€˜Ubaid was correct, alhamdulillāh, because Mahir has transgressed further bounds as is clear from the following.

1. His attacks on the closest students of Allāmah Rabeeā€™, Allāmah ā€˜Ubaid, Shaikh Al-Bukhāri, etc. such as his lying and deceitful accusations against Shaikh ā€˜Arafāt and others, which the Musaā€™fiqah uploaded onto YouTube.Ā 

2. His clear lies on Shaikh Arafāt and other Mashayikh in continuing to accuse them after the scholars declared them to be innocent and free from the accusations of Muhammad Ibn HādÄ« (who has now been convicted).Ā 

And Māhir continues to lie in attempting to link the deviated methodology of Hāni Buraik to Shaikh ā€˜Arafāt Al-Muhammadi for his own devious ambitions. In reality, Shaikh ā€˜Arafāt was the foremost of those who corrected and rebuked Hāni Buraik.Ā 

3. Māhirā€™s fanatical support of the corruption and falsehood of Muhammad Ibn Hadi even after the affair has been clarified by the major scholars and judged in the courts of Saudi Arabia. Māhir is in opposition to the clearcut knowledge-based position of Shaikh Rabeeā€™, Shaikh ā€˜Ubaid and others ā€” and note that Shaikh Rabeeā€™ does not recommend Mahir Al-Qahtāni either!

4. His plan to attend a Masjid of Ahlul-Bidā€™ah in London (that leads to an increase in their numbers and the Salafi shabāb being decieved).Ā 

This masjid in London is known for its enmity towards Ahlus-Sunnah by regularly inviting preachers to call to deviations. Māhir makes no recourse to the Salafi Tullāb Al-ā€˜Ilm of the UK which Shaikh Rabeeā€™ always advises with (as did the other Scholars such as Shaikh Muqbil, Shaikh Ahmad An-Najmi, Shaikh Ubaid, etc).Ā 

This further shows his unsuitability for daā€™wah as Shaikh Ubaid has stated ā€” and due to his sense of self-amazement such that he doesnā€™t need to cooperate or seek direction from the elder students in the daā€™wah nor the scholars.Ā 

5. This conduct of Māhir shows that the Musaā€™fiqah of his likes are willing to cooperate and build bridges with Ahlul-Bidā€™ah while opposing the great scholars such as Al-Fawzān, Rabeeā€™, Muqbil, Ubaid, etc who all forbid gathering the youth at the masājid and centres of Ahlul-Bidā€™ah while knowing these centres are gathering-places of the innovators who misguide the Muslim youth.Ā 

This conduct of Musaā€™fiqah and Māhir Al-Qahtāni is made even worse when one considers that there are *at least six* Salafi Masājid and Marākiz in and around London alone, and up-to a further twelve (or more) across the UK.

But, the Musaā€™fiqah hate Ahlus-Sunnah wal-HadÄ«th and prefer to gather in the refuse-pits of Ahlul-Ahwā and throw scorn upon the people of Sunnah and Salafiyyah.Ā 

Abu Hātim Ar-Rāzi (rahimahullāh) stated: *ā€The distinguishing sign of Ahlul-Bidā€™ah is their reviling of the People of Narrations.ā€* They should remind themselves of these sayings of the Salaf.Ā 

Furthermore, accepting such invitations (for the sake of correcting the misguided people) has specific principles that the scholars (such as Al-Albāni, Ibn ā€˜UthaymÄ«n and Al-Fawzān) have laid down which is not reflected in the open and continued cooperation of the Musaā€™fiqah with Ahlul-Bidā€™ah.Ā 

This Masjid in London where the Musaā€™fiqah attend, ā€œteachā€, are employed and promote, is the very place where the heads of bidā€™ah (who revile the Salafis) are frequently invited to misguide the masses!Ā 

Furthermore, this masjid and centre received direct proceeds from the profits of the National Lottery (biggest gambling company in the UK) which they declared in their previous annual financial reports.Ā 

So be warned, O Salafi, from these Musaā€™fiqah and from neglecting the Manhaj of the Salaf which is carried by the trustworthy scholars of every age.Ā
